It is about people watching, and you may be lucky enough to see celebrities and Royalty.
One of the 500 creative exhibits at Chelsea Flower Show
The flower show is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, which was founded in 1804 by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood. The charity has grown from having meetings in a small room off London’s Piccadilly, to becoming the world’s largest gardening charity.
The show is visited by well over 150,000 people over five days and has been held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital since 1913
The Royal Hospital is a place of great historical significance. It was built to give refuge to veterans and to this day 300 pensioners call Royal Hospital home and are known the world over as the Chelsea Pensioners.
